About American Lakes
Welcome to American Lakes School – Home of the Eagles.
American Lakes School is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment. Through the International Baccalaureate and STEM programs, American Lakes plays a central role in closing the educational achievement gaps with scholars while motivating them to take action and ownership of their learning as they develop the skills necessary to compete in a globally minded society.
The American Lakes School Scholar’s follow the Three Personal Standards: Show Respect, Make Good Decisions and Solve Problems. Our committed, collaborative, caring and exemplary staff are here to provide our students guidance and support in exhibiting these three standards daily. Scholars are encouraged to participate in the programs available on campus, including, but not limited to: Athletics, the after school program (ASES), After School Intervention (tutoring), Student Council, Green Team and more.
American Lakes School parents are able to be involved on site through the School Site Council (SSC), the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), the Principal’s Advisory Council and as a volunteer. If you are a parent of an American Lakes Scholar and have an interest in becoming more involved on campus please come visit us in the office Monday – Friday between 7:15am and 3:30pm call at 916-567-5500.
