American Lakes Principal, Mr. Brian Sanino

Welcome to American Lakes School!

My name is Brian Sanino, and I am honored to begin another year as your principal. At American Lakes, we live by the "Three Personal Standards": Be Respectful, Make Good Decisions, and Solve Problems. Guided by these values and supported by our outstanding staff, our scholars continue to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

American Lakes is proud to be an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) school. The IB framework empowers our educators to deliver a rigorous, standards-based curriculum that nurtures globally minded scholars.
We are also recognized as a Bronze Status PBIS school, a testament to the systems we've implemented to foster positive behavior, provide targeted interventions, and cultivate a supportive school climate.

Through these initiatives—and many others—American Lakes embodies the Natomas Unified School District’s vision: to create an engaging and safe learning community where all scholars demonstrate responsibility, grow academically and socially-emotionally, embrace diversity, and are prepared to make informed decisions for college and career success.

I look forward to an exciting and impactful 2025–2026 school year as we continue this journey together.
