Green Team

The American Lakes School “Green Team” consists of nearly 60 students who volunteer after school, once a week, to make a difference in recycling. Not only the kids study environmental issues, such as plastic garbage waste in oceans, they also empty classroom recycling bins after school each week. In fact, they recycle about 8 tons of paper and cardboard per year! If your student is interested in joining, please send an email to Mrs. Westbrook.
